SHIGEO MAKABE DIRECTION•COMPOSITION•TEXT
Shigeo Makabe who writes and directs his work, moved into the field of directing from acting. He has directed about 15 radical and experimental performances. Known as a unique dramatist in Japan, he has worked in "Die Pratze M.S.A. Collection" (held by hall of same name), "Shitamachi Theater Festival" (held by the Taito Ward, Tokyo), and "North Tokyo Avant-garde Theater Festival" (held by the Kita Ward,Tokyo), all experimental theater festivals, as executive director. His short film received THE BEST AWARD in Yubari International Festival in 1992.
He has written essays on theories of drama, published as "KAKU NO HANA (An Imaginary Flower)", by Jiritsu Shobo Publishing.
KUMIKO UCHIDA PERFORMER
Goes into theater-world inspired by rich visual imagination and freedom of experimental theater after reading Terayama's theory on bringing unreal world into everyday life.
Studies mime, butoh and flamenco for physical expression.
Joins OM-2 in '94, on their oversea performances while continuing solo projects.
Searches to express "body placed in various situations".
HIROO NAKAI PERFORMER
Born in Okayama prefecture.
Participates in OM-2 since 1997 performance in Tunisia.
Also a ballet dancer, busy with performances.

Teams with ATSUSHI SASAKI, as performance unit "ha".
SHOKO MURAOKA PERFORMER•PRODUCTION
"I was based in small "off" theaters while doing school performance tours, MC at concerts, voice-overs and commercial theater plays..."

Participates in OM-2 performances since 1990 in "B-DAMAGE 3108",
the OM-2 being still its former name OHSHOKU-MAIGIDAN 2.
Since 1994, also handles oversea productions as well as performing.
Have gone all oversea performances except "I,F"
SAORI TANABE PERFORMER•PRODUCTION
From Nagano prefecture
Having seen "Convulsion of Mr K" in 1998, joins originally volunteering for production staff.
But instead makes debut as performer in "Circulate-1"
Since then, a performer as well as production staff.
ATSUSHI SASAKI PERFORMER•DIRECTIONAL ASSISTANCE
From Iwate prefecture
The assistant director since 1994.
First performance as "Kuroko" (a role in Kabuki theater, dressed in black, supports the main performers on stage) as well as selecting music for the whole performance.
In "Nocturnal..." makes a now-legendary appearance as one of the "swimmers" together with YASUHARU AKASE.
Makes debut as performer in "Circulate-1"

Also the half of performance unit "ha", other half being HIROO NAKAI
SHINOBU ASAMURA PERFORMER
Participated in OM-2 since their former body, the OHSHOKU-MAIGIDA 2.
Since then appeared in all the performances as well as taking part and touring all over Japan in "YUME ICHIZOKU" a tent theater group.

YUMIKA SAKI

 PERFORMER

Makes her stage debut at age of 8 in performance of "TANUKI" by the GEIJUTSU-ZA. Several appearance followed such as "CHIKAMATSU SHINJU MONOGATARI" at Imperial Theater in Tokyo, "SASAYUKI" in Takarazuka Theater (played role of ETSUKO) as child actress.

Left stage once at 23, but returns with OM-2 since 2000
NAOKO SHIBASAKI PERFORMER

"...I sometimes think 'what's my true self?' What I am now is me, of course, not unlike when I was a child there is a part of me that the society I am in has created. I think I am trying to find out what is the color of real me that is freed from such things and the rules that is in this world I live in."
